I miss the love of my life.
I am so far away, and it's been so long since I've held his hand, given and received a hug and a kiss. So long since I last sat in his lap on my couch and watched a random movie that neither of us really ended up watching anyways.
It feels like half of me is just gone.
And, to top it all off, he won't tell me what's going on with him and his life.
I tell him all about my day down the the little stuff, like what I ate. And what does he say when I ask about him, nothing... literally he says the word nothing.
Me: "What are you doing?"
Him: "Nothing."
Me: "What did you do today?"
Him: "Nothing."
Me: "What did you eat for dinner?"
Him: "Nothing."
Me: "What do you have planned for tomorrow?"
Him: "Nothing."
It's really hard to only ever hear the word nothing. I'm so far away, and it feels like he doesn't want to let me into his life anymore. I know he loves me, and I know that this is just as hard on him as it is on me, maybe even a little bit more. And I know this is just a way to help him cope...
But, it's slowly starting to wear me down....
I love him, more than anything... and, well, it's just hard....
Anybody have any advice that could help me?? Because I'd really appreciate it. Really, very much appreciate it.

Relaxation
So last night when I went to bed, I tried out the relaxation hypnosis.
And it worked so well!
It's a half hour long of him telling you to relax deeper and deeper, but it was well worth it.
It helped me to go to sleep much faster than I normally would.
Normally it takes me anywhere from an hour or more, to fall asleep.
But I listened to the relaxation hypnosis, and I followed his instructions, and as soon as the thirty minutes were up, I swear it was like, five minutes later and I was OUT!
I do feel more relaxed and less stressed/tense feeling than I did yesterday, it was really nice.
I had to get up at 5:30 again to go run with my dog. And it was so easy. Next week I change to the week two podcast. Kinda excited!!!
But, two bad things. One, it was kinda cold and very windy, sometimes it was really really hard to hear him tell me when to walk and when to run. And I was wearing shorts and a tank top, so cold, yeah, very cold!
And... my left headphone went out. I turned on my ipod, and I walked out of the house, and I played the podcast and suddenly couldn't hear anything coming out of the left headphone.... I was like, are you kidding me?? Good thing it wasn't the side that his voice was coming out of, haha.
I really feel like napping. I am SO tired. I don't really like getting up early, I'd much rather stay up until one or two am, and then sleep all day, haha. So, even if I get enough sleep, if I get up early, I am so tired. I am going to the post office, and then to do some shopping. I hope that my mom and I get back early enough to take a nap. Because on Monday, we didn't. We had planned to be back by, like, well, early enough to take a nap... but we didn't get back until almost four. :( So yeah, no nap. And on Wednesday I had to go help bring back mattresses from mom's grandmother's house, through pouring rain that made me drive like, 40 mph on a 70 mph road... It was crazy!
I think that when I take my nap today, and since mom will be napping too and she takes really long naps, 2-5 hours at a time, haha.... anyways...
I think that when I take my nap that I will play the weight loss hypnosis. We'll see how it goes. :)
Well, I guess I'm good for now. I'll talk to you later, let you know how the hypnosis at naptime went!!!

Hypnosis
So, I'm reading about hpynosis. All of a sudden, it popped into my head and I was like, I need to read about it!
I downloaded a few hypnosis mp3's, one for relaxation and one for weight loss. :) (See how it connects??)
So, we'll see how that goes.
I didn't eat breakfast or lunch today. :( Even though it was on my to do list for today.
I was good and didn't overeat at dinner though, I ate until I felt full.
I got my exercise in. xD Being a hostess at a restaurant does have its perks.
Lots of walking! :D
I am as of right now having an in depth discussion with my friend... let's call him J since that's what his name IRL starts with. He truly believes that he cannot be hypnotized. I am reading something that explains hypnosis in depth scientifically. I need to find a way to get him the pdf file I am reading.

Thunder and Lightening, and Running Oh My!!
Haha.
So I ran again this morning.
I got up, well, I WOKE up at 5:30, and GOT up at 5:50 am. Ugh, I know!
Haha.
But I got ready and mom put the dog on her leash and we went out. Much easier this time simply because there was no one around.
On Monday when I went it was about seven something, and so there was a ton of traffic around the school I pass when I run. This time no one was around, so much easier.
Also it was just easier to run in general.
One more time this week and I'm done with week one Couch to 5k. :D Kinda excited!!!!
So I came back home and got ready to go out with mom. We left at about eight, and I posted on FB that I went running and that I got up at 5:30, and I asked my boyfriend if he felt proud of me. (He is an early riser, he is just a morning person. I on the other hand, would be nocturnal if I could, haha.) He told me no, but that he still loved me. Silly boy he is.
Mom and I stopped at McDonalds to eat breakfast. I ate 1/4 of a hashbrown and a breakfast burrito with orange juice. I normally would have gotten the meal and gotten two burritos, but I was good. :)
Then we went and got her grandmas truck so that we could register it. That didn't take all that long, and we went to her house to pick up some mattresses. I drove back to pick up mom's car. And the truck is an automatic, and I drive a stick. I haven't driven automatic for two years now. It took me a moment to really remember not to use my left foot. Haha.
I ate 3/4 of a grilled cheese sandwich, and all my tots from Sonic. And I drank a small lemon-berry slushie.
OHEMGEE! It rained so hard on the way home. I could only go like, forty mph for some of it, and I was on a 70 mph road. The visibility sucked!!!!!
And well, I guess that's good enough for today. I have to work tomorrow from 11:30 to 3.

Whoopsies...
Haha, forgot to blog last night before I got off for the night, so here's yesterday!:
Well, after I ran, I took a nice long shower.... our plan was to take a nap and go do our errands in the afternoon...
But then mom comes and knocks on the door saying that we're going to run errands this morning and nap in the afternoon...
I really wanted that nap then though, haha. Running made me tired.
So, we got ready and we left.
Returned something to Hobby Lobby. Mom was really disappointed in their clearance section. Their clearance section sucks right now because the whole store has gone Christmas-y. I mean, come on.... It's not even September yet. Haha....
So then we went to JCP, and mom tried on a butt-load of clothes because she always buys something new when she has an event coming up. In this case it was because her company that she works for, Stampin' Up!, is having a regional event on September 11th, and she gets to talk in front of all the people there at the Saturday one, it's on Friday too, and she gets to help people make the projects if they need help... so anyways, that wasn't really my point with this blog... haha.
So we spent a couple of hours there I think, wandering the store, going from clearance rack to clearance rack. She only bought two things that weren't on clearance. And she bought quite a lot because most of the stuff she bought was only four dollars....
Then we went to eat, because by that time, I was HUNGRY! Haha.
We went through the drive-through at MickyD's. I got a happy meal cheeseburger. And it was wonderful.
Because on Sunday night, I was eating dinner with my family, and we got on the topic of onions because we were talking about the foods that my sister didn't like. And she used to not like them. And I mentioned that I LOVE the minced onions that they put on the happy meal cheeseburgers.
SO... yesterday when we went through the drive-through, that's what I got because I loved them. We went to Ulta, or well, Mom did really. I ate my burger, my fries, and a little bit of hers. Normally I would have eaten ALL the fries, from both of our meals, but I could actually tell when I got full this time!!!! I felt so good. Oh, I also had a lemonade. My favorite drink. :)
Then, we went to a store called Upscale, and I got a shirt. It's a medium in juniors. :D Usually I end up wearing a large.
I think it might have something to do with the style of the shirt.... but, I don't care. It's a medium.
Then we had to go find a Target, because my sister needed a WHOLE bunch more stuff for school that she hadn't said before...
And we got what she needed, but I also got two books! In a series, but still! I almost never get new books, I have to borrow from a library, and I haven't gotten around to the library here yet... I should work on that...
The series is The Hunger Games... and I own the first one thanks to my boyfriend who won it, and then gave it to me. And then we bought the second and third one yesterday. I am SOOO excited to read the third one. I'm only seven chapters in, about to start on the eighth. Ha, and when I told my boyfriend that I hadn't finished it yet, he figured I would have, he gasped. I had to tell him that I had only started it like, fifteen minutes ago.
I never got to take my nap, and my sister didn't make spaghetti for dinner like she said she was going to, she made burgers...
Um, so yeah, that's about it for my day. Most of the time, my day isn't nearly this eventful, so don't expect really long blogs ALL the time, haha.
Well, I have to start getting ready and whatnot... I have to go to work today.
Which isn't all that bad. I like working at Cracker Barrel. :)

Running Buddies!
Guess what?!
I ran this morning!!! Ahwoots! Ahwoots! *does a happy dance*
Yupp, I got up at seven, and I went running with my dog.
Which, by the way, isn't all that easy as she wants to stop and sniff stuff..... All well...
All in all, it went pretty well.
I am back doing the Couch to 5k thing again.... And this time, I'm going to STICK TO IT!
Just in case you don't know...
It's a program to get people from their couch (aka the lazy bums who haven't run since high school PE *ahem* me...) to be able to run three miles in nine weeks...
For week one: Five minute warm up walk (brisk walk!), then 8 sets of: 60s of running and 90s of walking, and then it's a five minute cool down walk.
It's not all that bad. Hopefully I stick to it, unlike last time where I quit after the first day because it was just TOO HOT!
My dog is going to be my running buddy!

I asked her this morning if she wanted to go on a walk with me, and she jumped up and went to her leash all excited.
And while we were running I asked her, well, here's our conversation:
Me: Dixie Lou... would you be willing to do this three times a week?
Dixie: (gives me a funny look, keeps running)
Me: (gives her a look back) You know... we could trim some of that unwanted puppy fat!
Haha. You know, puppy fat, like baby fat?? She's not quite three yet. She will be on the eleventh of September though. (We make my dad share his birthday with her... lol.)
So, hopefully I stick to this. Hopefully it doesn't get too hot again...
I won't quit Zumba, because that is just fun! :) So I think I will Zumba tonight, that way I get my exercise day in.
I feel like this is a brand new start! Yayyyy! I think I will also start cracking down on my eating again too. I mean, I'm not doing badly. I'm not overeating, I don't go back for seconds anymore... but I think it's time to kick it up a notch! *BAM* (Emiril Style! WOOTS!)
Well, it's time for me to take a shower. I think I will blog again tonight about my whole day, my eating habits, etc. If you are reading this, and I haven't posted by 11 pm Central Time, (hopefully you can figure out what time that is your time.... depending on where you're at...) message me to remind me, or, well, yeah, I guess that's good enough.
Because most likely I will be on the computer, and when someone messages me in my SparkMail inbox, it sends an email to me, and when I get an email, windows live messenger lets me know. :) So make sure I blog again! Okay??

I'm Not Sure I Can Do This
You know, I'm not sure I can do this....
Well, the eating part, I've pretty much got down pat...

Like mom has TONS of candy here in the house, and I've eaten WAY more than my share. :(
But you don't blame me right??
It's the exercise.... I can never seem to do any.
Well, I walk a lot at work, but does that REALLY count as exercise? It's a lot of walking back and forth for four hours. (I'm a hostess at a restaurant.)
I like Zumba, I really do. I have pretty much all the dances down now, but I never seem to remember to do it. So: Fail.
And running... Oh boy....

Back to school??
No...
I wish though! I'm taking a year before I do school... mainly because I will be joining the Air Force, and although they do pay for school.... I will be so busy the first year that I won't be able to do much school. So, I will have to wait.
I ZUMBA'D with my MOM! Haha. She actually Zumba'd with me tonight. Which is nice, because she hasn't the last three times. She got some of them down, but even on some of the easy ones she messed up on. But that's okay!
Why? Because I sucked on my first time doing all the dance moves. I now have all but like, two down. I'm so proud of myself!
I am so NOT coordinated, I have a hard time dancing with my arms and legs at the same time. But, I'm doing pretty well regardless.
Tomorrow there's no exercise... but I do have work. Yuck! Haha, naw, it's not really that bad.
I like it. Best of all!!! I GET PAID! Haha. I actually got my first two paychecks, one being like $24 and the other was $101. But then I owed mom like, $118.... so... yeah. I don't have all that much money anymore. Haha.
That's okay though.
Anyways... Good luck with what you're doing. I know you can do it!!!

I like it. Best of all!!! I GET PAID! Haha. I actually got my first two paychecks, one being like $24 and the other was $101. But then I owed mom like, $118.... so... yeah. I don't have all that much money anymore. Haha.

Monday is going to be a fresh start.
I'm going to start my exercise routine again, and restart tracking what I eat as well.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I'm going to Zumba, yayy, ZUMBA! Haha.
I was going to type a whole, like, epiphany type thing. Proclaiming that.... well, I dunno actually.
That's really all I wanted to say, haha. I DO also want to start blogging daily again.

Zumba
My first Zumba experience was on Sunday August 5th, 2010.
First off, let me tell you that I am in NO WAY COORDINATED when it comes to dancing.
My best friend once told me I dance like a headless chicken... yes, it IS that bad. Haha.
So, even with that, I was REALLY excited to start with Zumba.
My mom and I bought (we split it, I have yet to give her the money, but in essence I helped buy it) the DVD kit, which comes with Zumba Basics and 20 Min Workout. It also comes with an ab workout, and a sculpt and tone workout, a dance party workout where you just dance to the music, and the fun maraca weights. It cost about $70 on amazon.com.
I put in the dvd and started to go along with what the girls were doing.... let me tell you it's not as easy as they make it out to be.... but maybe that's just because I can't dance?? I dunno.....
I got about half of the moves and the other half, well, I need to just keep trying. Haha.
I am going to Zumba again tonight, so I will edit this afterwards to tell you how it went.
For now though, I need to go do the dishes and change into my workout clothes.

So, I did my Zumba workout! I did better than I did last time... I got all but 4 of the dances down now. I think after maybe one more time going through all the basic moves, I will have them down.
Let me just say that it is so much fun.... but! Find a partner! Someone who is willing to do it with you. It is much more fun. You laugh more, and get into it more if you have someone to do it with. I had more fun on Sunday with my next door neighbor and her younger sister than I did tonight by myself. Maybe she will come over and do it again with me.

I Love Infomercials!
So, last night I was flipping through the channels, and we have A LOT of them! And I got to the section of infomercials they always have. And let me tell you, I LOVE infomercials! I don't know why, but if I find one, I stop and I watch it. I find them interesting for some reason. Well, I found one on Zumba!
I have been thinking about trying Zumba for a while now, you know Zumba.... the dancing exercise that DOESN'T feel like exercise??
I mean, I have no coordination, sometimes it's like my arms and legs aren't attached to my body when I try to dance, but, why not try it anyways. It looks like fun!
So, I convinced my mom to go halvsies with me on it. We bought the entire set thingy on Amazon.com for like, I think it was almost $70, but it had a lot of stuff, so it was worth it. It's supposed to be here on Wednesday, so we'll see how it goes. :)
In other news, I've been working! Yes! I know, isn't it great?? xD
My job at Cracker Barrel is going pretty well, I have to work today from 3-9, and then on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-9. Then on Thursday I start my processing for the military. :)
So much is happening this week, I'm excited.

Great news!!!
I got myself my very first ever job!!!!
I'm going to be a hostess at Cracker Barrel!! I am so EXCITED!!!!
In other news I think I'm losing weight! Another bonus! Haha, and considering that I might actually be supposed to be gaining weight because of some medication that I am taking, I think I'm doing pretty well. The steroids I'm taking to get rid of my bronchitis are supposed to make you gain weight, but since the last time I weighed myself, the number has gone down, so hopefully that trend will continue. And now back to my job...
It has been kinda hard to find a job. Most places a requirement to work includes having your high school diploma/GED, well, I have my diploma. And then I enter my birthday, and since I'm seventeen I'm disqualified from the job. Which sucks. :(

Slacking...
That's what I am... slacking. :(
I'm supposed to run on Mon, Wed, Fri... but I can't bring myself to do it anymore.
In the beginning I was all gung ho, YEAH! LET'S GO RUNNIN! WOOOT!
Now I can't even stand the thought. I do like to use the Wii Fitt, but I know that's not doing all the much for me.
The only thing I'm doing well on is my food.... at least I think. Well, I gotta hope something is going good for me, haha. I'm eating way less, and a little more often. A little more often in part thanks to my pills I have to take. I got bronchitis about three weeks ago, maybe four, and it just hasn't gone away. And I need it to go away before I can go process for the Air Force. So, I just hope it goes away soon.
And on a side note that has nothing to do with anything....
I haven't talked to my boyfriend in two days. Now, it may not seem like a long time... but for us it is. He lives halfway across the country, and being away from him after being with him, and seeing him everyday for a year+ is the hardest thing.
But I am glad that it's because he's going out and hanging with his friends, because what does he say every time I ask him what he's been up to??? "Nothing." I swear it's his favorite word. Haha. Well, enough of me ranting on that.
I made fried rice yesterday!!! And I was good and only ate a small portion of it. I put the rest away to eat today and tomorrow too. It was so good, and really easy to make.
I made some rice in a pot on the stove. Then while that was going I boiled some cut up carrots in a pot of water for about 3-5 minutes, then you add frozen peas for just a minute and then strain out all the water. You put some oil in a wok, or I guess a pan would work too... and then you fry the veggies. When those have been frying for a while, you scramble some eggs, I used two, but you could only use one or more than two depending on how much you're making.... I just kinda eyeballed all the amounts, haha, probably not a good idea. Anyways, scramble the eggs INTO the carrots and peas, so with the carrots and peas still in the wok. Then add the rice in, and fry for a little bit. Add some soy sauce and other spices to it and you're done. You could always add chicken, but since we didn't have any, I used some cut up deli meat, turkey to be exact.
I know, very long, and possibly very boring, but whatever! Ha.
Keep it up with your goals, and maybe I'll do the same. *Crosses fingers!*

I stayed up too late, yet again.
Although it IS because my cousin Tori is here dancing.
What a lucky duck, a high metabolism and a great dancer to boot. Always hungry, always eating, always thin.
But she's here visiting and it's great, I love her to bits.
Also it's because I got a new phone. And one with the full keyboard that has TEXTING! Yes, you see it. TEXTING! I've never been allowed texting before. Mom held out for five years, five full years without texting. I almost died. Haha.
But now I have it and I love it!!!! :)
The phone I have is the Pantech Pursuit. It is so small, and cute. I got it in blue. I love it.
Well, enough of me going on and on about my phone and did I mention that I've only had it for a few hours and I've already become addicted to texting?? (Too bad it's late and no one will text me, haha.)

She was talking to someone who was with her at dinner one night about running. And the person she was talking to said that there is this program that is called "Couch to 5k". A whole 9 week program designed to help you get running and be able to run three miles. :)
So, I'm going to try this out and see if it works. :)

Almost, but not quite...
Well, as you can see I didn't make my 10pm cutoff... :(
But, it's better than the 130am that I stayed up to last night. I 'll get better as time goes on. I just need to build good habits...
So, I was Wii Bowling with my family and my dad won one game and I won the other, and then we were done. (Really interesting, huh?) So afterwards I was like, "Hmmm, maybe I will use Wii Fit tonight! I haven't used it in forever!" (Actually, forever is an understatement... I haven't been on it in over a year... yikes!
But I did yoga for twenty minutes, I did hula hooping for three, a warm up fast walk thing for five minutes... Then!
Then I did a twenty minute run!!!! I ran the equivalent of 2.7 miles!!!!
Oh yeah, I'm good!!! :D *Does little victory dance*
And well.... now it's time for bed. I really don't need to be staying up as late as I have been. :)

An easy solution to a messy house and working out!
Put on some music and dance out while cleaning!!!
That's what I'm doing right now, well, not this EXACT moment obviously... And now, I'm not the best dancer... but it's super fun and takes my mind off the fact that I'm cleaning. Which hardly anyone likes to do voluntarily. I mean, I don't.
Even if people are home and you can't put in a cd as loud as you can, plug your headphones into your mp3 and rock out! Have fun! I know I am!

I have a hard time going to sleep at night. I am just a night person. I am NOT in any WAY, SHAPE, or FORM a morning person!

I need to get off the computer at like... nine or something... and be in bed by ten!

Ranting, Goal Meeting, and Help!
I HATE SUMMER.
*Gasp* you say! *Gasp* How could you dare say that you hate summer?!
Well, I do. The heat just makes me want to sit inside and do nothing.
I end up sitting on my bed, surfing the internet, watching random videos on youtube....
I am in a summer rut. :(
I ran this morning! Yay for me!!!!!
I ran longer than I ever have before. A half mile, then I kept going!
Usually I stop and walk after that first half a mile, but I didn't today. I am sure that I ran about 3/4 of a mile. :)
Meeting my goals feels good!!!! Tomorrow I think, no!
Tomorrow I WILL go running again! See how far I can go! Woo hoo!!!!! What else is a good way to get my cardio workout? No strength training! Just cardio.
I have a reason for no strength training.....
I am going to be joining the Air Force... It's my decision, please don't comment negatively on that.... Anyways....
I am 5'4" and 149 lbs.... I am six pounds away from not being able to join. And since muscle weighs more than fat, I don't want to really start working on my muscles because that would just add weight that I can't have.
Any help would be great!!!!

Hey it's me, but then again, who else would it be?
Haha. So I've been trying for the past several weeks to go running, or well in my case, jogging in the morning. And the only time I can do that so that I don't die from heat and exhaustion is in the morning. And let me get one thing straight for you... I am NOT a morning person. I'd rather stay up ALL night and then sleep really late. I know, I know, not all that good for you, I know. But, I end up doing it anyways. Besides the fact that I haven't been exercising all that much everyday, I have been eating better and less. Yay! Go me! *Does a little victory dance* I do have a problem though... I am the type to put food on my plate and not be able to leave anything on the plate, even if I know I am full and I've eaten all that I need, so I need to be on my best behavior on my portion sizes. Well, I guess that that is a good enough update for now. Til later.

Okay, so this is my first blog entry. And well, I've tried to do blogging before and I always forget to update it, so hopefully I will update this more often than I did my other one... Anyways.... The only time that the pool is empty, is well, as far as I know, never. So maybe I'll swim some laps if no one is there, and if people are there, I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe just walk back?? So, I started to blog with SparkPeople.com and the site is actually helping. :)
I'm so happy! I haven't lost a lot of weight, but I'm working on it.
I'm going to post all my my OLD posts from there so that it will be all updated.
The plus side to this blog is that I won't just be talking about my weightloss, it will be about my life in general. :)
